I’m here to talk about me and my journey on the Ketogenic diet or WOE (way of eating). It has been a real life changer for me as I was heading for type 2 diabetes and an early grave and I waited so long for my son to come along, there was no way I was leaving him without his Mum.
I have spent my entire life obese and infact still am, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel for the first time ever! I started my journey at 22 stone 10lbs on 13th June 2018 since thn I have lost 8 stone and 2lbs (currently 14 stone 8lbs) eating the tastiest diet food ever and gone from a size 28 to a size 16, and if you’d have asked me if that were possible on the 12th of June 2018 I’d have said no.
So I’ve come to a stage where I share my journey with lots of people I speak to (many of whom I’m sure are fed up of hearing about it) and what I really want to do is help people who have had the same struggles as me. The information is out there we just need to know where to look, and the best source of information I have come across is a Facebook page called Ketogenic generation where you can read many articles and information posted by people devoted to helping others get back to health and not with a focus on weight loss, because this is the biggest, hardest thing to get your head around. Weight loss is a side effect of this healthy eating not the focus.
